I used to apply the finest perfume I could find to the Prophet ﷺ during his Hajj and Umrah.
حدثنا يونس قال حدثنا أيوب يعني ابن ثابت قال حدثتني أم داود
كنت أطيب النبي ﷺ في حجته وعمرته بأطيب ما أجد
Its chain is daif due to the obscurity of Umm Dawud, whose condition is unknown, and also due to Ayub bin Thabit. The hadith is sahih, as it appeared earlier at 25956.
