Ayesha reported,

We set out intending to perform Hajj, but I did not perform tawaf. I said, "Messenger of Allah, the others will return having completed both Umrah and Hajj, and I will return with only Hajj?"Safiyyah said, "I think I am going to keep you all delayed."He said, "May you be wounded and shorn! Did you perform tawaf on the Day of Sacrifice?"She replied, "Yes."He then permitted her to depart, and she set out.
