The Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted a man in the state of ihram to kill certain animals. He may kill the snake, the scorpion, the rabid dog, the spotted crow, the kite, and the mouse. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was once stung by a scorpion while in the state of ihram, and he ordered that it be killed.

أن رسول الله ﷺ أحل من قتل الدواب والرجل محرم أن يقتل الحية والعقرب والكلب العقور والغراب الأبقع والحديا والفأرة ولدغ رسول الله ﷺ عقرب فأمر بقتلها وهو محرم
