Ayesha reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from a journey, and I had bought a patterned cloth with images on it which I hung over a small alcove in my house. When he entered, he disliked what I had done and said, "Ayesha, do you cover walls with curtains?" So I took it down and cut it into two cushions. I later saw him reclining on one of them, even though it still bore an image.

قدم رسول الله ﷺ من سفر وقد اشتريت نمطا فيه صورة فسترته على سهوة بيتي فلما دخل كره ما صنعت وقال أتسترين الجدر يا عائشة فطرحته فقطعته مرفقتين فقد رأيته متكئا على إحداهما وفيها صورة
