Abu Nuhayk reported,

He informed him that Abu Darda used to address the people saying that there is no witr prayer for anyone who is overtaken by dawn. So Some men from the believers went to Ayesha and told her about this.She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would reach the morning and then perform the witr prayer."
