Ayesha reported,

A Jewish woman asked Ayesha for something and she gave it to her. The woman then said to her, "May Allah protect you from the punishment of the grave."Ayesha rejected this idea, and when she saw the Prophet ﷺ, she mentioned it to him.He said, "No."Ayesha said, "Then later, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us, 'It has been revealed to me that you will be tested in your graves.'"

حدثنا يزيد قال أخبرنا سفيان عن الزهري عن عروة

عن عائشة قال

سألتها امرأة يهودية فأعطتها فقالت لها أعاذك الله من عذاب القبر فأنكرت عائشة ذلك فلما رأت النبي ﷺ قالت له فقال لا قالت عائشة ثم قال لنا رسول الله ﷺ بعد ذلك إنه أوحي إلي أنكم تفتنون في قبوركم
