The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Abd bin Zama, "The child belongs to the bed, and the adulterer gets the stone." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed Sawda bint Zama to veil herself from him, because of the resemblance to Utba that he saw in the boy. So he never saw her until he met Allah.
حدثنا يزيد قال أخبرنا محمد بن إسحاق عن الزهري عن عروة
فقال رسول الله ﷺ لعبد بن زمعة الولد للفراش وللعاهر الحجر ثم أمر رسول الله ﷺ سودة بنت زمعة أن تحتجب منه لما رأى من شبهه بعتبة فما رآها حتى لقي الله
