Ayesha reported,

Hind came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, there was no household on the face of the earth I would have rather seen Allah humiliate than the people of your household. But today, there is no household on the face of the earth I would rather see Allah honor than the people of your household."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "And even more so, by the One in whose hand is my soul."Then she said, "Messenger of Allah, Abu Sufyan is a stingy man. Is there any blame on me if I spend on his family from his wealth without his permission?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no blame on you for spending on them in a reasonable manner."

عن عائشة قالت

جاءت هند إلى النبي ﷺ فقالت يا رسول الله ما كان على ظهر الأرض خباء أحب إلي أن يذلهم الله عز وجل من أهل خبائك وما على ظهر الأرض اليوم أهل خباء أحب إلي أن يعزهم الله عز وجل من أهل خبائك فقال رسول الله ﷺ وأيضا والذي نفسي بيده ثم قالت يا رسول الله إن أبا سفيان رجل ممسك فهل علي حرج أن أنفق على عياله من ماله بغير إذنه فقال رسول الله ﷺ لا حرج عليك أن تنفقي عليهم بالمعروف
