Urwa bin Zubayr reported,

Ayesha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, said that he returned to Khadijah with his heart trembling. He entered and said, "Cover me, cover me." So he was wrapped up. When the dread had left him, he said, "Khadijah, I fear for myself something terrible has happened. I fear for myself."Khadijah replied, "Rejoice. By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you. You maintain ties of kinship, you speak the truth, you bear the burdens of others, you give to the destitute, you are generous to your guest, and you assist in the calamities that befall people."Then Khadijah took me to Waraqah bin Nawfal bin Asad, a man who had become a Christian, an old blind man who used to read the Gospel in Arabic. Khadijah said to him, "Uncle, listen to your nephew."Waraqah said to him, "Nephew, what have you seen?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then told him what he had seen.Waraqah said to him, "This is the Namus that was sent down to Musa. I wish I were young during this time. I wish I would be alive when your people drive you out."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Will they really drive me out?"Waraqah replied, "Yes. No man has ever brought what you have brought without being treated with hostility. If I live to see your day, I will support you with mighty support."

حدثنا حجاج أخبرنا ليث بن سعد قال حدثني عقيل بن خالد قال وقال محمد بن مسلم سمعت

عروة بن الزبير يقول

قالت عائشة زوج النبي ﷺ فرجع إلى خديجة يرجف فؤاده فدخل فقال زملوني زملوني فزمل فلما سري عنه قال يا خديجة لقد أشفقت على نفسي بلاء لقد أشفقت على نفسي بلاء قالت خديجة أبشر فوالله لا يخزيك الله أبدا إنك لتصدق الحديث وتصل الرحم وتحمل الكل وتقري الضيف وتعين على نوائب الحق فانطلقت بي خديجة إلى ورقة بن نوفل بن أسد وكان رجلا قد تنصر شيخا أعمى يقرأ الإنجيل بالعربية فقالت له خديجة أي عم اسمع من ابن أخيك فقال له ورقة يا ابن أخي ماذا ترى فأخبره رسول الله ﷺ بالذي رأى من ذلك فقال له ورقة هذا الناموس الذي نزل على موسى يا ليتني فيها جذعا يا ليتني أكون حيا حين يخرجك قومك قال رسول الله ﷺ أو مخرجي هم قال نعم لم يأت رجل بمثل ما جئت به قط إلا عودي وإن يدركني يومك أنصرك نصرا مؤزرا
