I asked Ayesha, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite long surahs?"She replied, "He recited from the Mufassal."I asked, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray while sitting?"She said, "Yes, after the people had worn him down."I asked, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray the Duha prayer?"She said, "No, except when he returned from a journey."I asked, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fast any month entirely besides Ramadan?"She replied, "By Allah, no. He never fasted a complete month besides Ramadan, nor did he leave any month without fasting some of it."I asked, "Which of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ companions was most beloved to him?"She said, "Abu Bakr."I asked, "Then who?"She said, "Then Umar."I asked, "Then who?"She said, "Abu Ubayda bin Jarra."Yazid said, I asked, "Then who?"He said, then she fell silent.

قلت لعائشة أكان رسول الله ﷺ يقرأ السور قالت المفصل قلت أكان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي قاعدا قالت نعم بعدما حطمه الناس قلت أكان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي الضحى قالت لا إلا أن يجيء من مغيبه قلت أكان رسول الله ﷺ يصوم شهرا سوى رمضان قالت لا والله إن صام شهرا تاما سوى رمضان ولا أفطره كله حتى يصوم منه شيئا قلت أي أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ كان أحب إليه قالت أبو بكر قلت ثم من قالت ثم عمر قلت ثم من قالت أبو عبيدة بن الجراح قال يزيد قلت ثم من قال فسكتت
