The Prophet ﷺ delayed the night prayer one evening, so Umar said, "Messenger of Allah, the women and children have fallen asleep."The Prophet ﷺ then came out and said, "No one among the people is waiting for this prayer except you."The narrator added, "This was before Islam had spread widely among the people."
حدثنا عبد الملك بن عمرو وقال حدثنا ابن أبي ذئب عن الزهري عن عروة
أن النبي ﷺ أعتم بصلاة العشاء ذات ليلة فقال عمر يا رسول الله نام النساء والصبيان فخرج النبي ﷺ فقال ما من الناس من أحد ينتظر هذه الصلاة غيركم قال وذاك قبل أن يفشو الإسلام في الناس
