Ayesha reported,

I used to braid the garlands for the sacrificial animals of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He would send them off, yet remain among us without entering the state of ihram.

كنت أفتل قلائد هدي رسول الله ﷺ فيبعث بها ويقيم فينا حلالا
