The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should say, 'My soul has become wicked,' but rather let him say, 'My soul feels uneasy.'"Waki said, this refers to nausea.
حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يقولن أحدكم خبثت نفسي ولكن ليقل لقست نفسي قال وكيع الغثيان
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari narrated it, 10/563, no. 6179, in Fath al-Bari, in the book of manners, and Muslim, 4/1765, no. 2250, in the book of expressions, and Abu Dawud, 4/295, no. 4979, also in the book of manners.
