The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray at night while I lay stretched out between him and the qiblah. When he wished to perform the witr prayer, he would wake me, and I would pray witr as well.

كان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي بالليل وأنا معترضة بينه وبين القبلة فإذا أراد أن يوتر أيقظني فأوترت
