Fatimah bint Abu Hubaysh came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, I am a woman who suffers from continuous bleeding and never becomes pure. Should I abandon the prayer?"He replied, "No. Refrain from prayer during the days of your menstruation, then perform a full bath, perform ablution before each prayer, and pray, even if blood drips onto the mat."Waki said in his version, "Sit out the days of your menstrual period, then perform a full bath."
حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا الأعمش عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت عن عروة
جاءت فاطمة بنت أبي حبيش إلى النبي ﷺ فقالت يا رسول الله إني امرأة أستحاض فلا أطهر أفأدع الصلاة قال لا اجتنبي الصلاة أيام محيضك ثم اغتسلي وتوضئي لكل صلاة ثم صلي وإن قطر الدم على الحصير وقد قال وكيع اجلسي أيام أقرائك ثم اغتسلي
