Ayesha reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the use of gourd containers and pitch-coated vessels. However, Shuba said in the narration of Mansur, "I asked, 'What about clay jars or earthenware vessels?' He replied, 'I will not add anything for you beyond what I heard.'"

نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الدباء والمزفت إلا أن شعبة قال في حديث منصور فقلت الجر أو الحنتم قال ما أنا بزائدك على ما سمعت
