Ayesha reported,

The Prophet ﷺ was never given a choice between two matters, one easier than the other, without choosing the easier of the two.

ما خير النبي ﷺ بين أمرين قط أحدهما أيسر من الآخر إلا أخذ الذي هو أيسر
