Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a cloud rising from any horizon of the sky, he would leave whatever he was doing, even if he was in prayer, and then say, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil it contains."If Allah dispersed it, he would praise Allah. And if it rained, he would say, "O Allah, make it a beneficial downpour."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن عن سفيان عن المقدام بن شريح عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان إذا رأى ناشئا من أفق من آفاق السماء ترك عمله وإن كان في صلاته ثم يقول اللهم إني أعوذ بك من شر ما فيه فإن كشفه الله حمد الله وإن مطرت قال اللهم صيبا نافعا
