Ayesha reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, whenever I was menstruating, would order me to wrap a waist-cloth around myself, then he would embrace me. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I used to bathe together from a single vessel when we were both in a state of major impurity. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would also extend his head out to me while he was in spiritual retreat, and I would wash it while I was menstruating.

عن عائشة قالت

كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا حضت يأمرني فأتزر ثم يباشرني وكان رسول الله ﷺ أغتسل أنا وهو من إناء واحد ونحن جنبان وكان رسول الله ﷺ يخرج رأسه إلي وهو معتكف فأغسله وأنا حائض
