I asked Ayesha, the Mother of the Believers, "At what hour do you pray witr?"She replied, "I do not pray witr until they call the adhan, and they do not call the adhan until the dawn breaks."She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had two muezzins, Bilal and Amr Ibn Umm Maktum. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'When Amr calls the adhan, eat and drink, for he is a man of impaired sight. But when Bilal calls the adhan, lift your hands from food, for Bilal does not call the adhan until the dawn has come.'"
