The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "Were it not that your people are recent in their abandonment of Bishr, or of the days of ignorance, I would have demolished the Kaabah and brought it level with the ground. I would have made for it two doors, an eastern door and a western door, and I would have added six cubits from the Hijr to it, for the Quraysh fell short when they built the Kaabah."
قال حدثنا عبد الرحمن حدثنا سليم بن حيان عن سعيد بن ميناء قال سمعت ابن الزبير يقول حدثتني
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لها لولا أن قومك حديث عهد بشرك أو بجاهلية لهدمت الكعبة فألزقتها بالأرض وجعلت لها بابين بابا شرقيا وبابا غربيا وزدت فيها من الحجر ستة أذرع فإن قريشا اقتصرتها حين بنت الكعبة
