The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was neither obscene in speech nor one who used vulgar language, nor did he raise his voice in the marketplaces. He did not repay an evil deed with one like it, but instead he would pardon and overlook.

لم يكن رسول الله ﷺ فاحشا ولا متفحشا ولا صخابا في الأسواق ولا يجزي بالسيئة مثلها ولكن يعفو ويصفح
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Abdullah Jadali is trustworthy, and his hadith appears in the Sunan. The hadith was narrated by Tirmidhi 4/369 no. 2016, and he said, hasan sahih, in the chapter on righteousness, and by Darimi 1/16 nos. 5-6-7 in the introduction with a similar wording.
