A man passed by the Prophet ﷺ, or a man was mentioned in his presence, and he said, "What a wretched servant of Allah, what a wretched member of the clan."Then the man came in to see him, and the Prophet ﷺ turned toward him with a welcoming face, so much so that we thought the man held a special place with him.
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن إبراهيم بن ميمون قال سمعت أبا الأحوص يحدث عن عروة بن المغيرة بن شعبة
أن رجلا مر على النبي ﷺ أو ذكر رجل عنده فقال بئس عبد الله وأخو العشيرة ثم دخل عليه فأقبل عليه بوجهه حتى ظننا أن له عنده منزلة
