A woman suffering from prolonged menstrual bleeding asked about her condition during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She was told, "This is merely a stubborn vein." She was instructed to delay the Zuhr prayer and hasten the Asr prayer, performing a single ghusl for both, and to delay the Maghrib prayer and hasten the Isha prayer, performing a single ghusl for both, and to perform a ghusl for the Fajr prayer.Ibn Jafar said, "A single ghusl."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر وحجاج قال حدثني شعبة عن عبد الرحمن بن القاسم عن أبيه
أن امرأة مستحاضة سألت على عهد رسول الله ﷺ فقيل إنما هو عرق عاند وأمرت أن تؤخر الظهر وتعجل العصر وتغتسل غسلا واحدا وتؤخر المغرب وتعجل العشاء وتغتسل لهما غسلا واحدا وتغتسل لصلاة الصبح غسلا قال ابن جعفر غسلا واحدا
