The Prophet ﷺ was not more diligent about any voluntary prayer than he was about the two units of prayer before the dawn prayer. I heard this from Ata many times.
حدثنا عبد الرزاق وابن بكر قالا أنا ابن جريج عن عطاء أنه أخبر عن عبيد بن عمير
ما كان النبي ﷺ على شيء من النوافل بأشد معاهدة منه على الركعتين أمام الصبح سمعت هذا من عطاء مرارا
