Ayesha reported,

Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a cloud that looked like it might bring rain, his face would change, and he would go in and out, come and go. When the cloud passed and the sky cleared, that anxiety would leave him. When he was asked about it, he said, "I could not feel safe that it might be as Allah described, 'When they saw it as a cloud advancing toward their valleys' until 'a wind containing painful punishment' [Ahqaf 46:24]."

حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن ابن طاوس عن أبيه

عن عائشة قالت

كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا رأى مخيلة تغير وجهه ودخل وخرج وأقبل وأدبر فإذا سري عنه فذكر ذلك له فقال ما أمنت أن يكون كما قال الله {فلما رأوه عارضا مستقبل أوديتهم} إلى {ريح فيها عذاب أليم}
