The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are five harmful creatures, all of them sinful, that may be killed whether one is in a state of consecration or not, and whether inside the sacred precinct or outside it. They are the rabid dog, the scorpion, the crow, the kite, and the mouse."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال خمس من الدواب كلهن فاسق يقتلن في الحل والحرم الكلب العقور والعقرب والغراب والحدأة والفأرة
