I asked Ayesha, the Mother of the Believers, with what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to open his prayer when he rose at night. She said, "When he stood up, he would say the takbir, then say, 'O Allah, Lord of Jibreel, Mikail, and Israfil, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, You judge between Your servants concerning that in which they used to differ. Guide me, by Your permission, to the truth concerning that in which there is disagreement. Indeed, You guide whom You will to a straight path.'"
