Ayesha reported,

One day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned Khadijah and spoke of her at length with great praise. The jealousy that overtakes women came over me, and I said, "Allah has surely given you in her place, Messenger of Allah, a toothless old woman from among the old women of Quraysh with red gums."She said, the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ changed in a way I had never seen it change at anything, except when revelation descended upon him or when he saw a cloud and waited to know whether it brought mercy or punishment.

عن عائشة قالت

ذكر رسول الله ﷺ يوما خديجة فأطنب في الثناء عليها فأدركني ما يدرك النساء من الغيرة فقلت لقد أعقبك الله يا رسول الله من عجوز من عجائز قريش حمراء الشدقين قالت فتغير وجه رسول الله ﷺ تغيرا لم أره تغير عند شيء قط إلا عند نزول الوحي أو عند المخيلة حتى يعلم رحمة أو عذاب
