The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was wearing two thick garments from Oman, or perhaps from Qatar. Ayesha said to him, "These two garments are coarse. You sweat in them and they become heavy on you. So-and-so has received a shipment of cloth. Send word to him so he may sell you two garments on credit until a time of ease."So he sent to him, but the man said, "I know what Muhammad wants. He only wants to take my garments without paying me my dirhams."When this reached the Prophet ﷺ, Shuba said, I think he said, he replied, "He has lied. They know well that I am the most fearful of Allah among them," or he said, "the most truthful in speech among them and the most faithful in fulfilling trusts."
