It was mentioned to her that the deceased is punished because of the weeping of the living. She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only said this regarding a disbelieving man, that he is being punished while his family weeps over him."

ذكر لها أن الميت يعذب ببكاء الحي فقالت إنما قال رسول الله ﷺ في رجل كافر إنه ليعذب وأهله يبكون عليه
