The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If we had the means, I would have demolished the Kaabah and rebuilt it, and I would have made two doors for it, one through which people would enter and another through which they would exit."She said, "When Ibn Zubayr came to power, he demolished it and made two doors for it. It remained that way until Hajjaj prevailed over him, whereupon he demolished it and restored it to its original construction."

قال رسول الله ﷺ لو كان عندنا سعة لهدمت الكعبة ولبنيتها ولجعلت لها بابين بابا يدخل الناس منه وبابا يخرجون منه قالت فلما ولي ابن الزبير هدمها فجعل لها بابين قالت فكانت كذلك فلما ظهر الحجاج عليه هدمها وأعاد بناءها الأول
