A sheep died in the home of one of the Prophet's ﷺ wives. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Why did you not make use of its hide?"

Its isnad is sahih. Ibrahim bin Nafi Makhzumi Makki is trustworthy. Ibn Mahdi said, "He was the most reliable shaykh in Makkah." Bukhari mentioned him in al-Kabir 1/1/332-333. He heard from Ata, but here he narrated from him through an intermediary. See 2003, 2177, 2369. Misk, with a fatha on the meem and a silent seen, means the skin.
