The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the use of gourds, green earthenware jars, vessels coated with pitch, and hollowed tree trunks as containers, and he forbade mixing unripe dates with ripening dates.

نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الدباء والحنتم والمزفت والنقير وأن يخلط البلح والزهو
Its isnad is sahih, and it will come at greater length at 2772. See also 2020, 2476. Habib bin Abu Amra is written in H as Ibn Abu Umar, which is a clear error.
