Umm Habiba bint Jahsh, who was married to Abdul-Rahman bin Awf, suffered from continuous bleeding and could not become pure. Her situation was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said, "This is not menstruation, but rather a flow from the womb. She should observe the length of the menstrual cycle she used to have and refrain from prayer during that time. After that, she should perform a complete washing before each prayer and pray."
