Whenever the Prophet ﷺ visited a sick person, he would wipe him with his hand and say, "Remove the affliction, Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer. There is no cure except Your cure, a cure that leaves no illness behind."When he fell into the illness from which he died, Ayesha said, "I took hold of his hand intending to say it, but he pulled his hand away and said, 'Allah, forgive me and place me with the highest company.'"
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال حدثنا شعبة عن سليمان عن أبي الضحى عن مسروق
أن النبي ﷺ كان إذا عاد مريضا مسحه بيده وقال أذهب الباس رب الناس واشف أنت الشافي لا شفاء إلا شفاؤك شفاء لا يغادر سقما فلما مرض مرضه الذي مات فيه قالت عائشة أخذت بيده فذهبت لأقول فانتزع يده وقال اللهم اغفر لي واجعلني في الرفيق الأعلى
