Ayesha reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned the severe hardship that would precede the coming of Dajjal.She asked, "Messenger of Allah, where will the Arabs be on that day?"He replied, "Ayesha, the Arabs on that day will be few."She asked, "What will sustain the believers in terms of food on that day?"He answered, "What sustains the angels: glorifying Allah, declaring His greatness, praising Him, and proclaiming His oneness."She asked, "What kind of property will be best on that day?"He said, "A strong young servant who can bring water to his household. As for food, there will be no food."
حدثنا عفان قال حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن علي بن زيد عن الحسن
أن رسول الله ﷺ ذكر جهدا شديدا يكون بين يدي الدجال فقلت يا رسول الله فأين العرب يومئذ قال يا عائشة العرب يومئذ قليل فقلت ما يجزئ المؤمنين يومئذ من الطعام قال ما يجزئ الملائكة التسبيح والتكبير والتحميد والتهليل قلت فأي المال يومئذ خير قال غلام شديد يسقي أهله من الماء وأما الطعام فلا طعام
