Sadaqa bin Saeed Hanafi reported,

Jami bin Umayr al-Taymi narrated, I went with my paternal aunt and maternal aunt to visit Ayesha, and I asked her, "How did one of you used to behave with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when she was menstruating?"She replied, "When that occurred to one of us, she would wrap herself with a wide waist-wrap, then embrace the Messenger of Allah, holding him close with her arms and chest."
