Ayesha reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I saw Jibreel 
descending, filling all that lies between the heavens and the earth. He was clothed in fine silk garments adorned with hanging pearls and rubies."

Its chain of transmission is sahih. Haythami said in 8/257, "Ataa's memory became confused, but he was corroborated, so the hadith is very well known from the account of the beginning of the revelation." It is in the Sahihayn.
