Ayesha reported,

Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ intended to set out on a journey, he would draw lots among his wives, and whichever of them was chosen by lot would accompany him. He used to allot each of them her day and her night, except that Sawda bint Zama had given her day and night to Ayesha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, seeking thereby the pleasure of the Prophet ﷺ.

حدثنا إبراهيم بن إسحاق وعلي قالا حدثنا ابن مبارك قال علي أخبرنا ابن مبارك عن يونس قال علي أخبرنا يونس عن الزهري قال أخبرني عروة

عن عائشة قالت

كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا أراد سفرا أقرع بين نسائه فأيتهن خرج سهمها خرج بها معه وكان يقسم لكل امرأة منهن يومها وليلتها غير أن سودة بنت زمعة كانت وهبت يومها وليلتها لعائشة زوج النبي ﷺ تبتغي بذلك رضا النبي ﷺ
