She narrated to him about the pledge of allegiance of the women, saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ never touched the hand of any woman with his hand. He would only take the pledge from her verbally, and once she had given it, he would say, "Go, for I have accepted your pledge."
حدثنا إبراهيم بن أبي العباس قال حدثنا أبو أويس عن الزهري أن عروة بن الزبير حدثه أن
حدثته عن بيعة النساء ما مس رسول الله ﷺ بيده يد امرأة قط إلا أن يأخذ عليها فإذا أخذ عليها فأعطته قال اذهبي فقد بايعتك
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Bukhari related it in 5/312, no. 271 Fath, in the Book of Conditions, Muslim in 3/1489, no. 1866, in the Book of Leadership, Abu Dawud in 3/133, no. 2941, in the Book of Land Tax, Tirmidhi in 5/411, no. 3306, saying, hasan sahih, in the tafsir of Surah Mumtahanah, Nasai in 7/149, no. 4181, in the Book of the Pledge of Allegiance, and Ibn Majah in 2/959, no. 2875.
