When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was overcome by sleep or pain and could not pray at night, he would pray twelve rakahs during the day.
حدثنا سريج حدثنا أبو عوانة عن قتادة عن زرارة بن أوفى عن سعد بن هشام
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان إذا غلبته عينه أو وجع فلم يصل بالليل صلى بالنهار اثنتي عشرة ركعة
