Ayesha reported,

A woman came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "By my father and mother, my son and I bought the fruit of so-and-so's land from him. We went to him asking for a reduction in price, but by Allah, we did not get anything from his fruit except what we ate to fill our stomachs or fed to a poor person hoping for blessing. He swore that he would not grant us a reduction."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He has sworn not to do good. He has sworn not to do good. He has sworn not to do good."This reached the man, so he came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, if you wish, you may have all the fruit, and if you wish, the amount they asked to be reduced." So he reduced for them what they had asked.

عن عائشة قالت

جاءت امرأة إلى رسول الله ﷺ فقالت بأبي وأمي ابتعت أنا وابني من فلان ثمرة أرضه فأتيناه نستوضعه والله ما أصبنا من ثمره شيئا إلا شيئا أكلنا في بطوننا أو نطعمه مسكينا رجاء البركة فحلف أن لا يفعل فقال رسول الله ﷺ تألى أن لا يفعل خيرا تألى أن لا يفعل خيرا تألى أن لا يفعل خيرا فبلغ ذلك الرجل فأتى النبي ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله إن شئت الثمر كله وإن شئت ما وضعوا فوضع عنهم ما وضعوا
