I asked Ayesha, "How did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray during Ramadan?"She replied, "His prayer during Ramadan and outside of Ramadan was the same. He would pray eleven units. He would pray four units, and do not ask about their beauty and length, then he would pray four more units, and do not ask about their beauty and length, then he would pray three units."I asked, "Messenger of Allah, do you sleep before performing witr?"He answered, "My eyes sleep, but my heart does not sleep."

سألت عائشة فقلت كيف كان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي في رمضان قالت كانت صلاته في رمضان وغير رمضان واحدة كان يصلي إحدى عشرة ركعة يصلي أربعا فلا تسأل عن حسنهن وطولهن ثم يصلي أربع ركعات فلا تسأل عن حسنهن وطولهن ثم يصلي ثلاث ركعات فقلت يا رسول الله تنام قبل أن توتر فقال إن عيني تنامان وقلبي لا ينام
