The Prophet ﷺ commanded that the hides of dead animals be put to use once they have been tanned.
حدثنا أبو سلمة قال أخبرنا مالك عن يزيد بن عبد الله بن قسيط عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن ثوبان عن أمه
أن النبي ﷺ أمر أن يستمتع بجلود الميتة إذا دبغت
Its isnad is sahih. Umm Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman is trustworthy, and her hadith appears in the Sunan works. The hadith was mentioned previously at 24328.
