I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ going out to the prayer with his head dripping with water. He had been in a state of major ritual impurity and had performed the ghusl while intending to fast.

رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يخرج إلى الصلاة ورأسه يقطر كان جنبا فاغتسل وهو يريد الصوم
