Amra said to me, "Give me a piece of your land in which I may be buried, for I heard Ayesha say, 'Breaking the bone of a dead person is like breaking the bone of a living person.'"Muhammad said that a freed slave from the people of Medina used to narrate this from Ayesha from the Prophet ﷺ.

قالت لي عمرة أعطني قطعة من أرضك أدفن فيها فإني سمعت عائشة تقول كسر عظم الميت مثل كسر عظم الحي قال محمد وكان مولى من أهل المدينة يحدثه عن عائشة عن النبي ﷺ
