I asked Ayesha, "Tell me about a supplication the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to make."She replied, "He often used to say, 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done.'"
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال حدثنا شعبة عن حصين عن هلال بن يساف
قلت لعائشة أخبريني بدعاء كان يدعو به رسول الله ﷺ قالت كان يكثر أن يقول اللهم إني أعوذ بك من شر ما عملت ومن شر ما لم أعمل
Its isnad is sahih, its narrators are well-known and trustworthy, and Husayn is Ibn Abdul-Rahman Sulami. The hadith has already appeared at 23915.
