The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to kiss us on the face while he was fasting.
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال حدثنا عوف عن أوفى بن دلهم عن معاذة
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان ينال شيئا من وجوهنا وهو صائم
Its isnad is sahih. Awf is Ibn Abu Jameelah Arabi, and he is trustworthy, his hadith appears in the collections of the group. Awfa bin Dilham Adawi was deemed trustworthy by Nasai and Ibn Hibban, and Tirmidhi graded a narration of his hasan, while Abu Hatim considered him unknown. The hadith was mentioned previously at 23992.
