The Prophet ﷺ said about the one who drinks from a silver vessel, "He is but gulping the fire of Hell into his belly."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال حدثنا شعبة عن سعد بن إبراهيم عن نافع عن امرأة ابن عمر
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال في الذي يشرب في إناء فضة كأنما يجرجر في بطنه نارا
Its isnad is sahih. Ibn Umar's wife is Safiya bint Abu Ubayd. Bukhari related the hadith at 96/10, no. 5634, Ibn Majah at 2/1130, no. 2415, and Darimi at 2/163, no. 2129, all in the Book of Drinks, and Muslim at 3/1634, no. 2065, in the Book of Clothing.
